ETViewer - first binary release

ETViewer - first binary release

First milestone passed - I have found source code for ETViewer and turned it into first binary release. Feel free to download and test it.

ETViewer was initially hosted on Codeplex - it is still available in Codeplex archive.

I found several clones of ETViewer repository on Github, but only one contained change history since the very beginning of the project: https://github.com/VisionEP/ETViewer

This one was selected as a base for forking. The new location for ETViewer is https://github.com/anatoly-stupack/etviewer

What was done:

  • Source code was cleaned up (Removed SVN and Codeplex artifacts and other unneeded files)
  • Code was ported to latest build tools (Visual Studio 2019 and Windows 10 SDK)
  • First binary release was provided: ETViewer v1.2

What is planned to do next:

  • Consolidate existing code from different forks and merge all available fixes and improvements
  • Test with real projects and fix major bugs
  • Support CI process, integrate with Azure pipeline
  • Port ETViewer to x64 architecture
  • Provide Help and User Manual
  • Cover logic with tests
  • Increase maximum supported log size

First step on the long road is complete. Feel free to download and test ETViewer and post bug reports and feature requests.
