ETViewer - alternative trace viewer
ETViewer is an alternative WPP trace viewer for Windows originally developed by Javier Martin Garcia in 2011 and distributed under GPL 2.0 license.
Windows provides a powerful toolchain for tracing in drivers and userspace applications - WPP Tracing, but doesn’t provide a powerful tool to work with it. Default tool for WPP tracing - traceview.exe provides basic functionality to collect and view traces, but it’s UX is far from ideal. It misses such important features as search in collected traces and many others.
ETViewer is designed to provide the better UX to work with WPP tracing. Actually it is fully functional, but still has some things to improve.
As I found, ETViewer was not maintained and developed for several years, so I decided to take over it and continue its development and improvement.
